Finish Line Quilting

I'm still about 10 days from having something under my needle but we are making progress!

Well, I haven't had a quilt under my needle in just over a week.  Here is why... The longarm is in with those boxes.  The legs are over on the right side and the poles are on the left side.  They will go into the truck in a few more days and I'll be doing the reverse engineering to put it all back together again in Louisiana.  It's hard to believe but my entire studio, minus the fabric that has already been moved, is compacted into just barely more space than the longarm took up assembled. On the upside, the flooring in the new studio is finished thanks to my wonderful brother-in-law.  I love that guy.  Not sure what but I'm going to do something extra special for him next year.

Todays quilt is getting quilted just in time for Christmas.  It is another amazing quilt by Carol Lewis. This is my final finish in Georgia before I move to Louisiana but I know it will be far from my last "Georgia" quilt!
